We're looking for an ambitious Territory Sales Executive to develop our Reading territory which you will be given the autonomy to grow your own area, building relationships with local businesses and introducing tailored parcel delivery solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, generating new business and wants the freedom to build a successful territory with uncapped earning potential.

What you'll be doing

  • This is a field-based role covering the Reading territory. You'll typically spend the majority of your week meeting customers and developing new business opportunities, with time allocated for proposals, CRM management and team collaboration.
  • Generating new business opportunities across Reading and the surrounding area
  • Prospecting local businesses through face-to-face visits, networking and referrals
  • Working towards weekly KPIs
  • Understanding customer shipping requirements and challenges
  • Presenting tailored parcel and logistics solutions
  • Managing the sales process from initial contact through to onboarding
  • Building long-term customer relationships
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and pipeline management
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure excellent customer service

What we are looking for

  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to business development
  • Comfortable meeting customers face-to-face
  • Organised and able to manage your own territory effectively
  • Commercially minded with a willingness to learn
  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
