As a People Services Administrator you will support the full colleague lifecycle and help deliver a smooth and welcoming experience for colleagues across the business.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records and people systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Respond to colleague queries via phone and email in a professional and supportive manner.
- Process colleague lifecycle changes including new starters, leavers and contract amendments.
- Support recruitment activity, including interview coordination and candidate communication.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction processes to ensure a positive new starter experience.
- Prepare people documentation such as contracts, offer letters, and employment-related correspondence.
- Support payroll and reward administration processes with accurate colleague data.
- Identify and correct data quality issues to maintain reliable records.
- Support colleague engagement initiatives and wider people team activities.
- Act as a first point of contact for people systems and administration queries.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working within an HR Shared Services or People Administration environment.
- Strong customer‑service mindset with a passion for delivering a positive colleague experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience and Skills
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data entry, formulas and lookups.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
- Experience using people systems and databases.
- Strong problem‑solving and administrative skills.

Job Details
- Location: Haydock (Hybrid – 2 days in the office)
