About the role
This is a busy and productive role that involves driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van to deliver hire equipment around the local area.
You will be the face of the business, representing Speedy's vision, mission and values, and supporting the team to deliver our ESG strategy.
Responsibilities
- Drive the 3.5 ton flatbed van safely and efficiently
- Deliver hire equipment within the local area on schedule
- Represent the company positively to customers and the public
- Support team and business unit in achieving ESG objectives
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle condition
- Follow health and safety procedures and local traffic regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Customer‑focused attitude
- Experience driving a commercial vehicle within the UK
- Independent, self‑motivated and upbeat
- Ability to walk long distances and work in all weather
- Strong sense of community and pride in work
