The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

Monday to Friday – 07:30‑16:30 – 42 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Organise and coordinate all aspects of the transport function within the depot, providing key support to the Depot Manager.
  • Oversee delivery and collections operations.
  • Schedule fuel usage and manage fuel procurement.
  • Book external haulage and handle purchase order arrangements.
  • Manage staff, including training and performance.
  • Maintain product knowledge and arrange vehicle upkeep.
  • Support the business unit/team to deliver the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
  • Support health and safety practices in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • Previous managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Full driving licence (ideally Class 2 category) and full CPC qualification.
  • Excellent understanding and experience of managing health and safety practices.
