Responsibilities
- Organise and coordinate all aspects of the transport function within the depot, providing key support to the Depot Manager.
- Oversee delivery and collections operations.
- Schedule fuel usage and manage fuel procurement.
- Book external haulage and handle purchase order arrangements.
- Manage staff, including training and performance.
- Maintain product knowledge and arrange vehicle upkeep.
- Support the business unit/team to deliver the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
- Support health and safety practices in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Previous managerial/supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to prioritise workload while meeting strict deadlines.
- Full driving licence (ideally Class 2 category) and full CPC qualification.
- Excellent understanding and experience of managing health and safety practices.
