Location: Doncaster

Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday – Sunday, with overtime. Shifts: Weekdays, Night shifts and weekends.

Speedy are the UK's leading hire provider with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services – everything for every job. As a PTS Workshop Operative, you will play a key supporting role across our logistics, transport, customer service, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, maintaining, and managing site lighting (MSL Managed Site Lighting) on the track during night and weekend shifts
  • Deliveries and collections
  • Assisting with vehicle loading/unloading
  • Testing and maintaining equipment
  • Stock control

You’ll also spend one day a week in the depot to support operational tasks. This role is hands-on and varied, requiring adaptability, strong teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for colleagues and customers alike.

Requirements:

  • Previous PTS Site Lighting experience desirable
  • PTS Sentinel card for rail
  • Driving licence
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Able to adapt quickly to support others
  • Commitment to learn and develop
