The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Surveyor Engineer Pressure & LEV Inspection to join our specialist engineering team in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality technical inspections and wants to work for an established business where safety, technical standards and professional expertise really matter.

You will be responsible for carrying out thorough examinations and inspections of pressure systems and LEV equipment, helping our customers ensure their equipment remains safe, compliant and fit for purpose. Working directly with customers, you will combine your technical expertise with a professional, solutions-focused approach, providing clear advice and delivering the high standards of service Lloyds British is known for.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Carrying out high-quality inspections and thorough examinations of pressure systems and associated equipment
  • Inspecting LEV systems where required and assessing equipment against relevant standards
  • Ensuring equipment complies with current regulatory, statutory and safety requirements
  • Identifying faults, defects and potential safety concerns
  • Carrying out fault-finding and providing appropriate technical recommendations
  • Producing accurate, detailed and professional inspection reports and certification
  • Working within agreed technical authorities, inspection procedures and health & safety standards
  • Providing customers with clear technical advice and guidance
  • Building strong, professional relationships with customers through consistently high standards of service
  • Keeping your technical knowledge current and contributing to Lloyds British's reputation for engineering excellence

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong technical background in pressure systems and inspection. Ideally, you will bring:

  • ASME Level 1 and PSSR qualification and/or P601
  • Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
  • Experience working with pressure vessels and pressure systems
  • Knowledge and experience of LEV inspection, where applicable
  • A strong understanding of relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Proven fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills
  • The ability to produce clear, accurate and comprehensive technical reports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and customer-focused approach
  • The ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with customers
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance
