Field Service Engineer - Generators and Compressors - Glasgow
Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00, 40 hours per week plus overtime.
On-Call Payments:
- Monday to Friday: £35 per day
- Saturday & Sunday: £50 per day
- Bank Holidays & Christmas Week: Additional payments apply

Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites and carry out planned service maintenance and repair of compressors and generators ranging from 20 - 1400 kva.
- Fault-finding, replacing parts, effecting repairs and diagnosing mechanical failures.
- Liaise with external departments and customers.
- Service, fault find and carry out breakdown repairs.
- Comply with company Health and Safety policy.

What you'll need:
- Full driving licence.
- Good knowledge of diesel engines.
- Experience in fault-finding, replacing parts, effecting repairs and diagnosing mechanical failures.
- Experience of maintaining and repairing similar types of equipment.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to hours as there is consistent overtime.
