Field Service Engineer
to join our Power & Energy team, covering Bristol and the surrounding areas. If you're experienced with diesel engines, enjoy fault-finding and want a role with variety, independence and excellent earning potential, we'd love to hear from you! With a
company van, fuel card, paid overtime and additional on-call earnings , this is a great opportunity to take your engineering career further. What you'll be doing
Servicing, maintaining and repairing
generators (20–1400 kVA)
and compressors at customer sites.
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and carrying out repairs.
Attending breakdowns and completing planned maintenance.
Working with modern equipment, including
ComAp and Deep Sea Electronics (DSE)
control systems.
Delivering excellent customer service and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
What we're looking for
Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly diesel engines.
Experience in fault-finding, servicing and repairs.
Background in generators, compressors, plant or similar equipment.
Full UK driving licence.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Willingness to participate in overtime and a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
Don't have direct generator experience?
We'd also love to hear from
