Speedy Powered Access is part of Speedy Hire, one of the UK's leading providers of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services. Our Powered Access division supports customers across the UK with a wide range of access equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts and other specialist powered access machines.
Our Drivers play a vital role in delivering and collecting equipment safely, efficiently and professionally, while providing a first-class service to our customers.

What will you be doing? By joining our Powered Access Driver Talent Pool , you can register your interest in future driving opportunities across the UK.We'll keep your details on file and may contact you when a suitable vacancy becomes available that matches your licence category, experience and location. Depending on the role, you may be responsible for: Delivering and collecting powered access equipment to and from customer sitesLoading and unloading equipment safely and securelyCompleting daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are roadworthyEnsuring all loads are secured correctly and transported safelyCompleting delivery and collection paperwork accuratelyProviding excellent customer service when attending customer sitesLiaising with depot teams to ensure deliveries and collections are completed efficientlyCarrying out basic equipment checks where requiredFollowing company procedures and all relevant transport legislationMaintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance at all timesWe would particularly like to hear from Drivers with experience in: Powered access equipmentPlant and construction equipmentHIAB or lorry-mounted crane operationsHGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivingMulti-drop deliveriesMachinery or equipment transportConstruction, plant hire or equipment hire environmentsLoading and securing heavy or specialist equipmentCustomer-facing driving rolesPrevious powered access experience is advantageous, but relevant driving and equipment-handling experience from similar industries may also be suitable.
