Were looking for an experienced Powered Access Engineer to join our depot-based engineering team in Tamworth .Youll play a key role in keeping our powered access fleet safe, reliable and ready for hire, working on a wide range of equipment from leading manufacturers including Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG .
The role
Working alongside our team of Engineers, youll be responsible for: Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipmentRefurbishing equipment ready to go back on hireFault finding and diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issuesCarrying out inspections and safety checksIdentifying and estimating repairs requiredReading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic drawingsEnsuring equipment meets our safety and quality standardsKeeping accurate service and maintenance recordsWhat youll need Previous engineering experience within powered access or a similar environmentStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsGood understanding of electrical and hydraulic systemsAbility to read electrical and hydraulic drawingsA keen eye for detail and a strong approach to safetyExperience with Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie or JLG equipment would be an advantageCAP registration would be beneficial, but isnt essential well support you with training and development to get thereWhat we offer 26 days holiday plus bank holidaysPension schemeLife assurance95% discount across the Speedy brandTraining, development and career progressionVoluntary Health Cash PlanPAM Employee Assistance ProgrammeMy Staff Shop discounts and offersGreen Commute InitiativeBuild your engineering career with Speedy Well give you the opportunity to develop your technical skills, gain further qualifications and progress your engineering career.
