The Hire Controller plays a key role at the heart of our operation, supporting both sales and customer service. This is a busy and rewarding position where building strong relationships with customers and colleagues is essential.
You will coordinate the full hire process from enquiry through to delivery and collection, working closely with different teams across the depot to ensure customers receive the right equipment, on time, with a high level of service throughout.
Day to day, you will work closely with stock teams, drivers and engineers, helping to keep operations running smoothly and ensuring customers are kept updated every step of the way.
What you will need:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive and adaptable approach
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience within the hire industry or a similar sales/operational environment would be beneficial
