Role Overview: Test and Run Technician (fixed term) – located in Tamworth. Working hours Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00 (42 hours per week).
Deliver basic electrical and functionality testing, servicing and cleaning of returned hire tools, plant and support equipment to ensure they are safe and presentable for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical testing on 12/24 V equipment, mechanical checks, and use tools effectively.
- Ensure items meet safety and quality standards.
- Report defects and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Basic electrical skills (12/24 V).
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools effectively.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Prior experience in the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable.
- Ability to support the business unit/team to deliver ESG Strategy.
