As a Hire and Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Handling the full hire process - from initial request and equipment selection to order processing and off-hire management
  • Providing accurate information on product availability, hire rates, delivery times, and technical specifications
  • Coordinating with logistics, drivers, engineers, and other depots to ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment
  • Maintaining accurate hire records and updating internal systems
  • Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring repeat business
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services
  • Resolving customer queries, issues, or complaints efficiently and professionally
  • Supporting depot colleagues with administrative tasks and general branch operations
  • Contributing to stock checks, yard organisation, and equipment control where necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with company health & safety standards and environmental responsibilities
