Looking for a hands-on role with a great work/life balance?
We're looking for a Workshop Operative to join our busy team in Newport. You'll work across the depot, supporting our warehouse, logistics, transport and engineering teams to keep equipment moving and our operation running smoothly.
FLT experience is essential, with a current FLT licence preferred.
What you’ll be doing
- Operating an FLT and moving equipment safely around the depot
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Preparing and testing hire equipment
- Managing and organising stock
- Supporting deliveries and collections when required
- Keeping the workshop and depot safe, tidy and organised
- Helping different teams across the depot when needed
It’s a varied, practical role and a great opportunity to build experience across different areas of the business.
What you’ll need
- Previous FLT experience - essential
- Current FLT licence - preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills
- A willingness to learn and develop
- A strong focus on working safely
