About the Role As a Hire and Sales Coordinator , you will play a key role in delivering a seamless customer experience. Your responsibilities will include: Key Duties Acting as the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries via phone and email Handling the full hire process - from initial request and equipment selection to order processing and off-hire management Providing accurate information on product availability, hire rates, delivery times, and technical specifications Coordinating with logistics, drivers, engineers, and other depots to ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment Maintaining accurate hire records and updating internal systems Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring repeat business Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services Resolving customer queries, issues, or complaints efficiently and professionally Supporting depot colleagues with administrative tasks and general branch operations Contributing to stock checks, yard organisation, and equipment control where necessary Ensuring compliance with company health
