Based in the depot in Glasgow, the Mechanical Engineer performs mechanical repairs, assembly and servicing on industrial products including power tools, lifting equipment and machinery with petrol and diesel engines. You will prioritise repairs and maintenance tasks effectively, supporting the depot to deliver a safe, reliable, high‑quality service to customers.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous mechanical engineering experience, ideally within the hire industry or another engineering field.
  • Knowledge of petrol and diesel engines.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
