About the role
As an LEV Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out the thorough examination and testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems in line with COSHH regulations and industry standards. You'll work across customer sites, ensuring systems are operating effectively and helping clients maintain a safe working environment.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Carrying out thorough examination and testing of LEV systems in accordance with BOHS guidance
- Producing accurate reports and certification following inspections
- Identifying faults, inefficiencies or non-compliance and providing clear recommendations
- Advising customers on system performance and maintenance requirements
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and in line with company procedures
- Managing your own workload and planning site visits efficiently
- Building strong, professional relationships with customers
- Supporting Lloyds British and Speedy’s ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
What we’re looking for
This role must have:
- BOHS P601 qualification (essential)
- A full UK driving licence
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience working with LEV systems in a testing or inspection environment
- A strong understanding of COSHH and ventilation compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and reporting accuracy
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive, organised and reliable working style
