Specialty Crane Technician - Erith - Monday to Friday - 08:00-16:30 - 39 hours per week - overtime available.
At Lloyds British, a recognised leader in Test, Inspection, and Certification services, we are seeking a Specialty Crane Technician to join our expert team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most trusted names in the industry and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
As a Specialty Crane Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of overhead traveling cranes, ensuring they meet all regulatory and operational standards. If you have hands-on experience and expertise in LOLER regulations, we want to hear from you!
You will be required to conduct routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists and to understand LOLER and PUWER. You will consult with your customers afterwards, ensuring that next steps are recorded with prevention of breakdowns as your goal. You need to anticipate the problems before they occur.
You will be involved in frontline maintenance, attending to breakdowns, carrying out fault finding, retrofits, modernisations, and upgrades to the customers' cranes and hoists.
Requirements:
- NVQ3, HNC, HND or C&G electrical engineering qualification
- Relevant industry experience working with cranes and hoists
- Current UK driving licence

- Excellent customer service manner, with strong listening and interpersonal skills
