Were looking for an experienced Mobile Engineer to join our team in Erith , supporting customers directly at their sites and keeping their equipment safe, reliable and ready to work.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role where no two days are the same.
Youll manage planned servicing alongside responding to breakdowns, helping to keep our customers and their operations moving.
The role As a Mobile Engineer, youll be responsible for
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing equipment at customer sites
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance in line with service schedules
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and getting customers back up and running
- Carrying out equipment inspections and safety checks
- Keeping accurate service and maintenance records
- Managing your workload effectively while working independently
- Providing a professional and helpful service to our customers
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure equipment remains safe and reliable
- What youll need
- Previous mechanical engineering experience ideally within hire, plant or a similar engineering environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A strong focus on safety and customer service
- A flexible and team-focused approach
