Ready to join a business where you'll genuinely make a difference?

If you enjoy talking to people, thrive in a busy environment and like the satisfaction of solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.

Our Hereford branch is a family run business, meaning you'll become part of a close-knit team of three where everyone rolls their sleeves up and works together.

We cover a large area across Herefordshire, so no two days are ever the same.

You’ll spend your day speaking to customers, drivers and suppliers, managing bookings, responding to emails and keeping everything running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll also support the business development side of the branch, helping generate new opportunities, build relationships and contribute to the branch’s continued growth.

This role would suit someone with customer service experience who’s confident on the phone, organised, enjoys multitasking and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

Whether you’re looking for your next step or a chance to develop your commercial skills, this is a great opportunity to grow within a supportive, friendly team.

What you'll be doing

As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them find the right transport solution while delivering outstanding service every step of the way.

  • Build great relationships with customers over the phone and by email
  • Handle customer enquiries and transport bookings.
  • Coordinate deliveries with drivers and suppliers.
  • Keep customers updated throughout their journey.
  • Solve problems quickly and confidently.
  • Work with colleagues to deliver the best possible service.
  • Learn how to identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.
  • Help generate new business through excellent customer conversations.

No two days are ever the same, so you’ll need to enjoy working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly.

We're looking for someone who...

  • Loves speaking to people and delivering brilliant customer service.
  • Is positive, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
  • Is organised and able to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Has excellent communication skills.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and picking up new systems.
  • Can stay calm under pressure and enjoys solving problems.

Experience

Previous customer service or phone-based experience is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.

If you enjoy speaking to people and working in a fast-moving environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Why Join Speedy Freight?

We're one of the UK's fastest-growing logistics businesses, with a reputation built on exceptional service and an amazing team.

When you join us, you'll benefit from

  • Ongoing training and development.
  • Career progression opportunities.
  • On site parking
  • A supportive and friendly team environment.
  • A fast-paced role where every day is different.
  • The opportunity to build valuable commercial and customer service skills.
