We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to take on the role of Events Coordinator for our busy venue in Kent. The jobholder will be responsible for our full calendar of events held at Speedgate Farm in Fawkham.

Location: Speedgate Farm, Fawkham, Longfield, Kent DA3 8NJ.
Hours: The Jobholder will be required to work a minimum of 24 hours per week. Days and hours will be discussed during interview but will include weekend working. Flexibility on days and hours can be discussed and negotiated. There is scope for the job to grow in the future and more hours will be available to the right candidate.
The successful candidate will ideally have
Experience of running Equestrian Events including Affiliated Dressage
Knowledge of online entry platforms such as Horse Monkey
Excellent customer service skills and an enthusiastic approach to work
The ability to manage Event volunteers to deliver successful events
Knowledge of IT systems, Office 365 and social media platforms
A flexible approach to working as they will be required to assist in other areas of the business during busy periods or during staff absence
Job Responsibilities
The role of Event Coordinator will include all operational aspects of event organisation, from initial planning though to logistics and on-site delivery. This exciting role includes involvement with the following:
Office management and all event administration
Securing judges, volunteers and other officials
Working alongside the Marketing team in preparing social media adverts and content
Preparation, build up, running and close down of on-site events
Input and involvement in delivering in-store and promotional eventsat both our Fawkham and Headcorn storesas the needs of the business require
Administration for our Speedgate Country Riding Club annual membership and looking after member enquires
The opportunity to expand and add to our busy calendar of events with new disciplines where necessary
A remuneration package including benefits will be offered based on skills and experience.
