We are a small independent picture framing business known for high-quality craftsmanship and personal service. We work with a wide range of clients from artists and photographers to the general public creating bespoke framing solutions tailored to each piece.
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Picture Framer to join our team. This is a varied role covering all aspects of framing. You'll play a key part in maintaining our reputation for quality and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling frames to a high standard
- Mount cutting (manual and/or computerised)
- Glass and acrylic cutting and handling
- Stretching canvases and mounting artwork
- Operating framing machinery and tools safely
- Repairing and re-framing existing pieces
- Maintaining a clean, organised workshop
- Assisting with stock management and ordering materials
About You
- Experience in picture framing is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong practical skills and a willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Practical, hands-on ability with tools and machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively
