We are a small independent picture framing business known for high-quality craftsmanship and personal service. We work with a wide range of clients from artists and photographers to the general public creating bespoke framing solutions tailored to each piece.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Picture Framer to join our team. This is a varied role covering all aspects of framing. You will play a key part in maintaining our reputation for quality and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling frames to a high standard
  • Mount cutting (manual and/or computerised)
  • Glass and acrylic cutting and handling
  • Stretching canvases and mounting artwork
  • Operating framing machinery and tools safely
  • Repairing and re-framing existing pieces
  • Maintaining a clean, organised workshop
  • Assisting with stock management and ordering materials

About You

  • Experience in picture framing is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong practical skills and a willingness to learn
  • Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Practical, hands-on ability with tools and machinery
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively
