Speedboat Bar are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manager looking for a new role in an award-winning, critically acclaimed group.

The Restaurant takes inspiration from the Thai-Chinese restaurants in Bangkok’s Chinatown and the thrilling sport of Speedboat racing along the canals (klongs) of Thailand. The menu explores the ingredients, flavours and techniques that took Chef Luke Farrell to Bangkok and its unique foodways; Chinese in origin but now uniquely Thai.

The Position requires a Restaurant Manager with experience managing a Front of House team, who is confident, outgoing, proactive and a roll-your-sleeves-up kind of leader. You will consistently uphold the highest standards of service and operations. Working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the front-of-house team, including financial management, recruitment and team development, stock control, and health and safety compliance.

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager that has:

  • The ability to inspire, motivate, lead and develop teams;
  • A warm, personable and professional nature;
  • Creative with excellent attention to detail;
  • Passion for food and beverage, and the London restaurant scene;
  • Working knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety requirements;
  • Ability to manage staff costs and review rotas accordingly.
