We're looking for a PR Consultant to join our Consumer team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, working on a major high street name. This role is ideal for someone with agency experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume press office environment and enjoys turning opportunities into headlines.
What you'll do
- Acting as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients and building strong working relationships
- Delivering creative consumer PR campaigns that support client objectives
- Managing busy press office activity, including reactive media enquiries, stakeholder requests and proactive story generation
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, influencers and content creators
- Identifying newsjacking opportunities, emerging trends and cultural moments that create cut-through
- Developing engaging content including press releases, media pitches, feature articles, opinion pieces, briefing documents and social content
- Contributing fresh ideas and creative thinking to campaigns and brainstorms
- Supporting and coaching junior team members to help them develop and succeed
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines to deliver integrated communications programmes
- Supporting new business opportunities and agency growth where appropriate
