Burton Albion Football Club is looking for a hands-on Facilities Manager to help keep the Pirelli Stadium safe, compliant and match-ready. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the stadium and surrounding areas, managing contractors, overseeing statutory checks, and ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard. The role includes preparing the site for matchdays and events, supporting safety and security teams, and overseeing post-event clean-downs.
Health and safety is a key part of the role, including risk assessments, compliance checks and emergency preparedness. You'll work closely with the Head of Stadium Operations, grounds team, contractors and volunteers.
About you: You'll have at least two years' experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally in a sports, leisure or public venue. You'll be organised, flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Relevant technical skills (e.g. electrical, plumbing or HVAC) are essential. An enhanced DBS check is required. Burton Albion FC is committed to equality, diversity and safeguarding.
