This is an exciting opportunity to step into People Partnering within a high-growth AI business, supporting teams Org-wide including: Engineering, Product and Commercial functions (Marketing, Revenue and Operations). You’ll partner with stakeholders across the business to support performance, engagement and team effectiveness, while gaining exposure to a wide range of people challenges in both technical and commercial environments. Working closely with the People Partnering Lead, this role is ideal for someone looking to build their partnering capability, deepen their commercial understanding, and grow into a more strategic People Partner over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- People Partnering
- Partner with stakeholders (primarily Director level and below) across Engineering, Product, Commercial and beyond
- Support managers in driving performance, engagement and team effectiveness
- Build strong, trusted relationships across teams
- Employee Relations
- Lead and manage employee relations cases including performance, conduct, absence and wellbeing
- Apply a commercial and pragmatic approach to resolving issues
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases where appropriate
- People Processes
- Support delivery of core people processes including: Performance cycles, Promotions and progression, Engagement initiatives
- Ensure managers are supported and processes are applied consistently
- Proactive Support & Insights
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities across teams
- Take a proactive approach to supporting managers and improving team effectiveness
- Share insights with the People Partnering Lead to inform broader people priorities
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the People Partnering Lead, supporting their work with senior leaders and ensuring relevant insights and information are effectively cascaded upwards
- Partner with Talent to support hiring plans and onboarding
- Work with People Operations to ensure smooth delivery of people processes
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience in an HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor or Generalist role
- Strong experience managing employee relations cases
- Experience supporting managers with people-related matters
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Good judgement and ability to handle sensitive situations
- Commercial curiosity and interest in understanding how the business operates
- Curious and eager to learn
- Takes ownership and shows initiative
