At Speechmatics, we are searching for a Developer Relations Manager to help us bridge the gap between our cutting-edge speech technology and the developer community.

Our mission is to Understand Every Voice—a vision that has propelled us to create Flow, our revolutionary new Conversational AI platform. By blending cutting-edge research with real-world impact, we deliver solutions that set new standards for accessibility, accuracy, and performance.

You will play a crucial role in fostering a vibrant, engaged, and growing community of developers who are excited about leveraging our Conversational AI and speech capabilities. Your mission will be to empower developers, advocate for their needs, and ensure they have the resources and support to succeed.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Cultivate and grow a passionate community of developers through online forums, social media, events, and meet-ups.
2. Represent the voice of the developer community within Speechmatics, ensuring their feedback is heard and acted upon. Work across teams to ensure the developer experience is continually optimised.
3. Develop and deliver high-quality content, including tutorials, blog posts, webinars, and documentation to help developers understand and utilise our technology.
4. Provide technical support and guidance to developers, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
5. Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, influencers, and other stakeholders to expand our reach and impact.
6. Act as a spokesperson for Speechmatics at conferences, hackathons, and other industry events, showcasing the potential of our technology.

Who we are looking for:

1. Proven experience in developer relations, community management, or a similar role within the tech industry.
2. Strong understanding of speech technology, AI, and machine learning. Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.
3. A genuine passion for technology and a desire to help others succeed.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
5. Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with developers, partners, and industry leaders.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment and adapt to changing priorities.
