Speech4Schools is expanding and looking for passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapists to join our team on a self-employed basis. We have work available in Medway, Gravesham, Dartford, Bexley, and Broadstairs, with potential for regular days in one school or a varied caseload across several settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy programmes based on individual child needs.
- Monitor child progress and collaborate with school staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of child assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with minimum 2 years experience.
- Experience working with children in school settings is preferable.
- HCPC registered.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Passionate about child-centred, collaborative, and flexible therapy approaches.
- Able to manage own schedule and paperwork as an independent contractor.
- Own transport and willingness to travel to schools in the listed areas.
