A fast-growing, mission-driven organization in the government contracting sector has an exciting full-time, hybrid opportunity for a Contracts Specialist to join its corporate office team in Wakefield, MA. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership and a chance to support multiple field offices across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full lifecycle of government contract administration, including proposal development, negotiation, execution, and closeout.
  • Review, interpret, and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, with regular reference to FAR and DFARS.
  • Draft and manage agreements such as Teaming Agreements, Consultant Agreements, NDAs, and Subcontracts.
  • Maintain strong internal and external communication with stakeholders to ensure timely contract execution.
  • Provide contract guidance to operational and accounting teams and serve as the primary contract liaison for assigned programs.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and department-wide efficiency enhancements.
  • Promote an ethical and compliant work culture in line with company values and policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of contract administration experience
  • Background in Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS)
  • Experience with Costpoint and Microsoft 365
  • Prior exposure to subcontract administration
