Software Packager - CONTRACT - outside IR35

You’ll be at the forefront of a Windows 11 upgrade project, responsible for assessing and transforming the current end-user application estate. This includes software managed via SCCM, manually installed apps, and applications built into base images in a VDI environment.

We're also moving strategically toward Numacent for application delivery and lifecycle management, so experience in its design, build, and implementation is highly desirable.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, build, test, and deploy software packages for Windows/VDI environments
• Work with tools like InstallShield, AdminStudio, WiX Toolset, or Advanced Installer
• Leverage SCCM, Intune, and Numacent to streamline and automate deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, sysadmins, and QA
• Ensure app compatibility, security compliance, and resolve configuration issues
• Maintain thorough documentation and provide regular progress updates
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across packaging workflows

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience with application packaging and enterprise deployment tools
• Familiarity with Windows 11, VDI, and manual installation remediation
• Strong knowledge of Numacent or similar application virtualization technologies
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, highly regulated environments like Defence
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
