About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Smart Contract Engineer to support the development of blockchain-based applications and infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer with experience in the Web3 ecosystem, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about creating innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on building and optimizing APIs using a Node.js framework (NestJS preferred, but experience with Express or similar frameworks is transferable).
- Manage and work with PostgreSQL databases, particularly with TypeORM (or other SQL-based databases).
- Collaborate on integrating smart contract functionality and infrastructure with an intermediate-level understanding of Solidity (primary contract work will be handled by the team lead).
- Contribute to the development of decentralized applications and help maintain robust Web3 infrastructure.
- Support deployment and scaling efforts on AWS infrastructure (a plus).
- Optional: Engage in frontend development tasks if familiar with React (not required).
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem and its tools.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and database management.
- Familiarity with smart contracts and blockchain fundamentals.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure is advantageous.
- Bonus: Basic to intermediate knowledge of React.
