We are recruiting a Business Analyst to support a high-impact Value Chain Transformation programme for one of our key clients. The role focuses on developing business cases, defining a future-state operating model, and supporting strategic digital and process-led improvements across multiple value streams. This is a unique opportunity to shape transformation outcomes that enhance internal efficiency, supplier collaboration, and customer satisfaction while delivering measurable financial benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Target Operating Model (TOM) Design & Solution Alignment: Design a comprehensive Target Operating Model for Value Chain functions, outlining the key capabilities, integrations, and user interactions required to support a digitally enabled future state. Ensure the model reflects interoperable value streams and technologies that deliver operational effectiveness and business value.
- Business Case Development & Documentation: Develop and update detailed business cases for specific workstreams and solution areas within the transformation programme. Produce supporting documentation that links directly to strategic business objectives and provides a strong evidence base for decision-making.
- Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage stakeholders and end-users across business units and geographic locations to gather and refine business needs. Translate these needs into clear, actionable requirements that inform technology and process changes.
- Process Analysis & Value Stream Mapping: Review current business processes and assess proposed changes against programme objectives. Conduct value stream mapping to visualise and optimise end-to-end flows across contract lifecycle, supply planning, and collaborative operations.
- Data-Driven Insight & Solution Evaluation: Use data and analysis to support the case for change and evaluate the effectiveness of current and potential solutions. Carry out option analysis and provide recommendations to guide investment decisions for various transformation workstreams.
- Collaboration & Communication: Liaise regularly with the Programme Manager, digital solutions team, and external partners to align efforts and share updates. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across business cases, technical solutions, and transformation objectives.
- User-Centric Design: Profile user groups and develop user stories that represent their needs and support solution development. Ensure the voice of the user is embedded throughout the change lifecycle.
