Operating from a 300m2 in-house workshop, Spectrum Live fabricates custom systems and produces 3D builds to bring creative visions to life. This is a full-time hybrid role based in London for a Trainee/Junior Signage & Graphics Fitter. The successful candidate will work on a variety of activities, including assisting with the assembly, installation, and maintenance of signage and graphics. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing materials
- Transporting components
- Working closely with the team to ensure the quality of installations
- Troubleshooting on-site issues as needed
Some tasks may require working at heights following proper safety measures. You will be trained in installation & build techniques for:
- Tension fabric systems
- Timber wrap graphics
- Vinyl application (windows, floor, wall, timber and acm application)
- Event branding which includes:
- Flags systems
- Scrim
- Gantry builds & wraps
- Grandstand wraps & graphics
- Hardware fabrication
This is a mentor role. You will also be trained in:
- Team leadership
- Materials preparation
- H&S documentation & creation
- Client facing operations
- Planning & crew allocation
Qualifications:
- Practical skills in assembly, installation, and handling of signage or related materials
- Experience or interest in hands-on technical work, including working with tools and following safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for troubleshooting on-site challenges
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, equipment, and techniques
- Flexibility to travel and work on-location as required, including occasional outdoor tasks
- A valid driver's license and a willingness to drive company vehicles (required)
- Familiarity with signage and graphics design or installations is an advantage
