A long standing client of mine has expanded their operations from the UK to Europe. They launched into new European markets in March 2024 and have taken on a head of sales to bring on-board new customers but now they need a technical engineer to help with the transition from Pre-sales to On-boarded customer. They have a 30-person strong tech team in the UK made up of Development & Support, but this role will be the crucial boots on the ground in Europe doing some Pre-sales consulting, Installation and ongoing support. The role will be primarily based in Berlin, Germany but with travel across Europe as needed to help with new projects. Must have skills/experience: Strong knowledge and background in networking and WiFi technologies A background in customer support and customer facing roles Experience implementing/Installing SaaS/PaaS solutions for clients across Europe Excellent communication skills and an ability to perform pre-sales consulting activities where needed Experience working in a small/startup business where you are one of a few employees delivering a service Willingness and ability to travel across europe as needed to meet with customers Fluent in English and GermanBeneficial skills/experience: Any other European languages; French, Portuguese, Dutch … Experience in a service desk environment triaging issues and supporting customersThe role is Monday-Friday but there are likely to be significant options for overtime, paid additionally (out of hours and weekend work). The role will be based from Berlin and mainly focussed in this area however will include business travel within Europe to customer sites and prospects, and occasionally to our UK offices.
