An exciting opportunity to lead IT strategy and daily operations within a growing organisation. Having expanded through acquisitions in recent years, the company has a busy pipeline of IT projects designed to support future growth. This will be the company's first dedicated internal IT hire, with initial focus on managing external vendors and service providers, with potential to bring some functions in-house. Located on the south coast, the offices are accessible from Southampton and Portsmouth, offering flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an effective IT strategy, reporting directly to senior management
- Oversee all IT functions including Software, Hardware, Cloud, Data, and Infrastructure
- Manage and optimise the existing SAP ERP system
- Enhance data security measures and data management processes
- Manage relationships with external vendors and the current MSP provider
Requirements:
- Currently in a senior IT management role with proven experience in planning and implementing IT strategies
- Experience in managing multi-site system upgrades and ERP deployments (SAP and Microsoft preferred)
- Strong data background, ideally with experience in implementing Data Strategies
- Hands-on IT or engineering experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
