The Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in the automation and support of the company’s cloud-based Carrier Grade network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will be part of a global team supporting Fortune 100 customers as part of an engineering function with a focus on automation of cloud infrastructure and experience with Infrastructure as Code/IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Github.

The company offers excellent training and career path opportunities with offices in London and Hampshire plus hybrid working option (3 days WFH).

Core responsibilities:
  • Support and integrate Carrier Grade Networks for a range of external customers
  • Automate infrastructure and deployments with Terraform and Ansible
  • Test AWS Cloud based network devices, Firewalls, Load Balancer
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external customers
Key requirements:
  • 5+ years in a Network role within an Engineering environment
  • Commercial experience of automating cloud infrastructure – preferably AWS
  • Scripting experience, PowerShell, Python or similar
  • IaC, Terraform Ansible or similar
  • Understanding of YAML, JSON
  • Cisco experience and certifications – CCNA, CCNP or similar is desirable
