Own the core product journey at a profitable, purpose-led scale-up reshaping how we reuse and resell. We’re working with a tech-enabled recommerce business that’s growing fast and doing things differently - helping people unlock value from the things they no longer need. They’re now hiring a Product Owner to take ownership of a product with real operational complexity: the full journey of a customer’s box through the business. This is a key role in a brand new product team, giving you the space, support, and budget to figure things out and build for scale.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and evolve the core product backlog - the end-to-end box journey from sign-up and sales through to fulfilment and operations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to uncover pain points, find efficiency gaps, and translate these into impactful features or processes.
- Partner with tech, ops, and commercial teams to build and prioritise initiatives based on real business value.
- Champion agile delivery - running ceremonies, writing clear user stories, and helping the team move fast.
- Prototype ideas, validate quickly, and iterate as you go - this is not a place for over-polishing.
- Use data, customer feedback, and KPIs to guide your decision-making.
We’re looking for someone who…
- Has hands-on experience managing a product backlog and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Is comfortable figuring things out in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment - you don’t wait to be told what to do.
- Comes from a logistics, shipping, fulfilment, or e-commerce background, and understands the operational challenges behind physical product movement.
- Is sharp with agile (JIRA, stand-ups, retros, MVPs).
- Enjoys finding quick wins, building from scratch, and pushing for continuous improvement.
Why this role?
- Be part of a brand new product team as the business reshapes and scales its operations.
- Work on a product with real-world impact and complexity - not just screens and flows, but moving parts.
- You’ll be backed by a Head of Product with the budget and freedom to hire the right person.
- Hybrid setup: 1-2 days a week in their Leeds HQ, the rest is flexible.
If you’re a curious, delivery-focused Product Owner with a head for operations and a bias for action - we’d love to hear from you. Don’t worry if you don’t tick every box. We’re more interested in potential than perfection.
