Lead Software Engineer
London – Hybrid working (1-2 days in the office per week)
Salary £110,000 to £130,000 + bonus

Lead Software Engineer required by a UK-based big-tech organisation to focus on delivering innovative customer-facing solutions for their all-in-one marketplace platform. You'll be responsible for the implementation of new features and functionality including online payment services, live chat and video call functions to provide a seamless customer and client experience.
This role will be the most senior hands-on fullstack developer in a small newly-created team who are at the forefront of the company's growth strategy and prioduct innovation. Alongside your development work, you'll be consulting on design and architecture decisions and resolving any bottle-necks in deployment.
Key experience
- Fullstack software development across JavaScript technologies
- Service Oriented Architecture and/or Microservice architecture
- Technical background in Agile software development & leadership
- Prior experience engineering marketplace, retail or B2B / B2C software solutions is a bonus
You’ll be working with the following languages and frameworks;
- Typescript
- Node.js
- Next.js
- React &/or React Native
- Postgres DB
- Kubernetes
- Kotlin &/or Swift (Desirable but not essential)
