Junior Network Engineer required to join a successful, family-run business with operations across the UK and Europe. Our dedicated IT team plays a central role in supporting daily operations, customer management, and systems through in-house software and infrastructure.
The Junior Network Engineer will be involved in building and maintaining WiFi networks and VLAN management.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive IT Support: Deliver effective support across hardware, software, and infrastructure environments.
Network Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain wired and wireless network systems including VLANs, switches, access points, WiFi networks, and APN configurations.
IoT and Connected Devices: Assist in the management and deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) devices across multiple sites.
Application Support: Provide support for both in-house and third-party applications, ensuring smooth daily operation for users.
Autonomous Working: Handle a broad range of technical tasks independently, maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
On-Call Support: Participate in an out-of-hours support rota, including some weekend coverage.
Travel: Occasionally visit sites across the UK and Europe
About You

Requirements
Understanding of networking fundamentals, including:
VLAN configuration and management
WiFi networks and Access Points
Switch configuration and maintenance
APNs and mobile data connectivity
Internet of Things (IoT) devices and networks
Experience in IT support or a similar technical role would be desirable.
Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
