An exciting hands-on leadership opportunity for a growing SaaS business. The Software Engineering Lead will join a ‘Tech for good’ product team developing SaaS products for a range of customers in the UK. The Software Engineering Lead will drive architectural decisions and improve delivery across the full SDLC, driving Agile and modern software best practice in a Microsoft environment.
Previous team leadership experience and a hands-on background in .Net environments is essential. The business offers hybrid working options with 3-4 days WFH each week – the offices are commutable from Farnborough, Guildford, Woking areas.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:- 5 years + experience in an Engineering Lead, Tech Lead or Tech Architecture focused role
- Proven ability to lead and deliver complex Enterprise software solutions in time sensitive environments.
- Previously implemented modern software engineering processes; TDD, BDD, CI/CD, Unit testing, etc.
- Strong architecture background, will have designed complex systems architecture
- A background in modern programming and cloud technology – .Net8 / .Net9 and modern Azure functionality
