Excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Engineer to provide dedicated onsite IT support for an excellent client. You'll support IT projects, incidents, and service requests across multiple client locations, with a particular focus on hardware replacement, device setup, troubleshooting and maintaining accurate asset records. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with users, and taking ownership of tasks through to completion. The office is based in Brackley and the client sites you'll be responsible for are within an 80km distance of this location. As well as a competitive salary, you will also be entitled to a £450 per month car allowance and milage. Role responsibilities: Provide onsite technical and end-user support across client locations Build and configure laptops and mobile devices and complete hardware replacements Troubleshoot desktops, printers, access points and other IT equipment Support IT project activities and successful handover into support Own incidents, service requests and assigned tasks through to resolution Maintain accurate tickets, asset records and technical documentation Deliver a professional and responsive service to users and colleagues Skills Required: At least 1 years' experience in an IT support, Field Engineer, or similar technical role Hands-on experience with laptop builds, mobile device setup and hardware replacement Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, desktop operating systems, and workstation hardware Exposure xrnqpay to Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Azure, and Cisco Meraki Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce clear technical documentation Ability to take ownership of technical issues and see them through to completion Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to remote client sitesSpectrum IT Recruitment (South) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
