Registered Dietitian - Dumfries Ambulatory Care Center

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a full-time civilian Registered Dietitian at the Dumfries Ambulatory Care Center in Dumfries, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based nutrition education in an outpatient primary care setting
  • Integrate relevant nutritional modalities into the patient care model
  • Provide specialized counseling in areas such as weight management, diabetes, immune dysfunction, and other health concerns for all ages

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Nutrition Education, Public Health, Health Promotion, or Community Nutrition
  • Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD)/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in wellness or nutrition education
  • Certification in Weight Management by the American Dietetic Association (may be obtained within one year of hire)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
