Responsibilities

Shift coordination – overseeing staffing levels and production of rotas.
Participating in audits
Management of junior members of staff
Supporting multi‑disciplinary teams such as: Diabetic retinopathy screening, AAA screening, Ultrasounds and X‑Rays, Medication rounds and dispensing, Emergency response situations, Patient assessments
Nurse‑led clinics, such as: NHS Health Checks, Immunisations and Vaccinations, NHS Bowel Screening, Phlebotomy clinics, Wound and Tissue Viability assessments
Assessing new patients who have just arrived at the establishment for the first time.
Complete clinical assessments
Triaging the acutely unwell patients
