SPECTRUM Centre for Independent Living CIC is recruiting a Disabled Person for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Chief Executive Officer 30hrs - 37.5hrs/week (negotiable)
Salary scale: Scale P04 33-36 - £42,096 - £45,333, for 37.5hrs/week
Applicants will have a thorough knowledge of disability issues and the Social Model of Disability. You will be responsible for strategic development, staff/project management, and peer support.
Excellent interpersonal, budget management, and organisational skills together with the ability to communicate at all levels are essential qualities.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and managing an expanding organisation of Disabled People committed to campaigning for full civil rights for Disabled People and providing user-led services to support Disabled People to live an independent lifestyle of their choice.
We support a definition of Disabled People that encompasses people with a physical, sensory, intellectual, psychological, emotional, or any other hidden impairment. Therefore, this includes people with learning difficulties, system survivors, cancer, and those with HIV/AIDS.
We offer a flexible package, including 25-28 days annual leave + bank holidays.
