The Service Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of supported living for our people. You will have direct responsibility for the staff that work in the homes. You are also required to monitor the health, lifestyle, and behavioural outcomes for people supported by Spectrum Care, and will work with other health professionals to ensure responsive services that are individualised and of a high quality.
Key Competencies
- Diploma or Bachelors in Human Services, or a Bachelors-level qualification in a relevant area such as health, teaching, psychology, social work, or management.
- A background working in the health, disability or social services sector and a sound theoretical knowledge of intellectual disability and/or mental health.
- Demonstrated training, leadership and resource management skills.
- Experience in managing teams and human services essential.
- Class 1 Full NZ Drivers Licence.
- Experience and qualifications in mental health welcomed.
- Excellent, clear, understandable verbal and written English is a pre-requisite to be considered for this role.
