As Service Manager, your focus will be providing oversight with an emphasis on clinical support and addressing high-intensive disability needs. We are looking for a candidate with a proven history and experience in high-complexity clinical and disability settings. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional communication skills, from report writing to working closely with whanau and teams. Combine hands-on clinical work with strategic leadership in shaping a bespoke service delivery design and driving best-practice care for the people we support.

Some of the great things you will be doing:

  • Hold clinical oversight & responsibility for the team
  • Ensure ‘Best Practice’ is delivered and maintained
  • Manage staff through informal coaching ensuring that support workers are trained and supported in delivering high-quality care
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents and families, encouraging proactive two-way communication
  • Work with wider Clinical Teams and Health practitioners ensuring a high standard of clinical care and knowledge for both staff and the people we support.

About you:

You are an experienced clinical leader, ideally with a background in disability or mental health seeking a rewarding opportunity to lead a highly experienced team in our supported living facilities. Ideally you bring:

  • NZ Nursing or Allied Health experience with a strong clinical background.
  • A background working in the health, disability or social services sector with sound clinical knowledge of intellectual disabilities and medical models of care.
  • Excellent, clear, understandable verbal and written English is a pre-requisite to be considered for this role.
  • 3-5 years’ management experience (in the disability sector preferred but not necessary).
  • Strong and proven team leadership experience with leading a high performing team.
  • A class 1 Full NZ Drivers Licence.
