Are you a consumer-focused Product Manager with a proven track record in the consumer goods or FMCG industry? Do you thrive in hands-on roles that span the full product lifecycle - from identifying market opportunities to seeing your ideas come to life on the shelf? We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Global Product Manager to join our team, responsible for delivering the Cooking and Food Prep portfolio for Russell Hobbs, a brand that brings real life solutions to consumers every day.

This is a pivotal role where you’ll work closely with cross-functional global teams, leading projects from concept through to launch. You’ll use insights, creativity, and collaboration to deliver meaningful innovation that aligns with our brand proposition, “We Get Life.”

The Role

  • Drive product development through the Spectrum Brands New Product Development Stage Gate process, working cross-functionally with NPD, Engineering, Project Management, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Build strong relationships with international stakeholders to gather regional insights, identify trends, and create robust 3-year roadmaps that reflect global and local needs.
  • Support marketing and commercial teams with compelling product stories, sales toolkits, and competitive positioning to ensure effective go-to-market execution.
  • Collaborate with brand communications and packaging teams to ensure launches meet compliance, brand, and market expectations.
  • Regularly present product concepts and launch updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment to strategic brand goals.

About you

You’ll bring 3–5 years’ experience in a product management or similar role within the consumer goods or FMCG industry, having successfully led projects from idea through to execution. You must be comfortable owning product development end-to-end, balancing commercial insight, creativity, and strong stakeholder management. This role requires you to showcase how you’ve measured success in previous roles – whether through product performance, consumer engagement, or market impact.

We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive, self-starting attitude. You must be comfortable navigating a fast-paced, global business, often working across multiple time zones and departments. Communication and influence are key; you’ll need to build buy-in at all levels and guide projects through to launch with clarity and confidence.

Your understanding of market data and consumer trends will allow you to identify the right opportunities and shape innovative product propositions. Ideally, you’ll have worked in a matrix organisation and are comfortable collaborating with supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams to bring ideas to life.

A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential. Experience in a fast-paced or consumer-led environment is a strong advantage.

Ready to shape the future of product innovation with one of the UK’s most trusted brands? Apply now and bring your ideas to life at Spectrum Brands.

This is not a digital or software product role. Candidates with experience limited to tech, SaaS, or digital-only environments will not be considered.
