With operations across multiple markets, it offers a genuinely international working environment with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and partners globally. /p p br /p p We are recruiting for a strong Regional Payroll HR Specialist /strong , a varied role combining international payroll responsibility with broader UK HR support. /p p br /p p Around 50% of the role will focus on payroll activities across multiple countries, working closely with Spectrum Brands’ global payroll outsourcing partner. The remainder will support the UK HR team across a range of HR administration and processes. /p p br /p p strong The Role /strong /p p br /p p The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, compliantly and on time, while supporting the smooth running of UK HR operations. /p p br /p p International Payroll /p ul li Manage accurate and timely payroll processing across assigned countries, working with external providers and internal stakeholders. /li li Manage and audit payroll data from Workday, Excel, time attendance and third-party payroll systems, including joiners, leavers, pay changes and variable payments. /li li Review and reconcile payroll inputs and outputs, resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance with controls and local legislation. /li li Manage EMEA payroll queries and provide support on complex payroll transactions. /li li Support payroll reporting, tax filings, off-cycle payments and employee payroll records. /li li Maintain knowledge of country-specific legislation and build strong relationships with payroll providers, HR leaders and Country Managers. /li li Support global payroll projects, system implementations and process improvements. /li /ul p br /p p UK HR Support /p ul li Provide day-to-day HR administration and support across the UK business. /li li Manage the UK Time Attendance system and support UK HRIS processes, including liaison with the US. /li li Support employee lifecycle processes including absence, maternity, paternity, contracts and personnel records. /li li Manage HR queries and support formal HR processes where required. /li li Maintain right-to-work and sponsorship processes in line with UK legislation. /li li Support wider HR activities, projects and ad hoc requirements. /li /ul p br /p p strong About you /strong /p p br /p p We’re looking for an experienced payroll professional with multi-country payroll experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment. /p p br /p p You’ll ideally have: /p ul li 2 - 4+ years’ experience processing payroll for salaried and hourly employees. /li li Multi-country payroll experience – essential. /li li Experience with outsourced payroll providers and cloud-based payroll systems. /li li Experience with HRIS systems, ideally Workday, and time attendance systems. /li li Strong knowledge of payroll processes and country-specific requirements. /li li Experience in pensions administration; HR experience is desirable. /li li Knowledge of SOX controls and strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills. /li li Fluent English; German would be advantageous. /li li Excellent organisation, attention to detail and communication skills, with a high level of confidentiality and integrity. /li /ul p br /p p A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ relevant professional experience is preferred, although significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu. /p p br /p p strong Why Spectrum Brands /strong /p p br /p p This is an excellent opportunity to join a global organisation in a genuinely varied role, combining international payroll with broader UK HR exposure.
