Reporting to: Head of Finance

Location: Manchester (3 days on site, 2 days WFH)

Contract: 6-month FTC

Across EMEA, our commercial agenda is focused on disciplined, profitable growth. We are on the lookout for an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a high-impact role, we need someone who can step in quickly, bring commercial judgement, and provide robust pricing and margin insight across multiple EMEA markets. The right person will be confident working with complex datasets and equally comfortable translating numbers into clear commercial recommendations. This is not a reporting role, it is a commercially influential position.

The Role

Sitting within Commercial Finance, you will provide central analytical support to the EMEA Sales organisation, with a primary focus on pricing, promotional performance, and margin discipline.

  • Analyse realised price performance by customer, channel, and market
  • Identify price dispersion, compliance gaps, and erosion risks
  • Highlight commercial opportunities to strengthen price execution
  • Standardise and improve visibility of pricing insight across markets

Promotional & Discount Performance

  • Assess promotional depth, frequency, and effectiveness
  • Evaluate gross-to-net margin impact
  • Identify margin-dilutive activity and value-accretive promotions
  • Support post-promotion reviews with clear, commercially grounded insight

Margin & Commercial Performance

  • Deliver detailed margin analysis across country, product, and channel
  • Identify key drivers of performance including pricing, mix, and cost to serve
  • Support forecasting and commercial outlook discussions
  • Provide proactive risk visibility to the EMEA Commercial Leadership team

You will work closely with Local Commercial Leads, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Finance, acting as a trusted analytical partner.

About You

This role requires someone who can hit the ground running. You will likely have:

  • Experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Finance, Pricing, or Revenue Growth Management
  • Strong understanding of pricing mechanics, promotions, and gross-to-net dynamics
  • Advanced Excel capability and confidence handling large datasets
  • Experience using BI tools (e.g. Power BI) is advantageous
  • The ability to translate analysis into clear, decision-relevant insight
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders

You are commercially minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, multi-market environment. Most importantly, you bring both analytical rigour and commercial judgement.
